Our pets are naturally receptive to reiki
If any of you have a furry friend, I am sure you know how closely they can understand our moods, energies and loyalty to them. When we are sad, they will sit by our side, maybe even cuddle against us and offer a sloppy kiss. When we are happy, they become excited, tails wagging, barks or meows waiting to see what comes next. They are always by our side. So, who’s to say that we can’t fix them when their mood is off?
Animals are naturally receptive to the Reiki energy and tend to gravitate towards it. Some pets may initially prefer to experience the energy from a slight distance, rather than having the practitioner’s hands directly on them.
What is Reiki? Reiki is a hands-on healing method that originated in Japan. The Reiki practitioner sends healing energy through his/her hands to the human/animal through a light touch or from a distance. Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is a Japanese word translated as “universal life energy”. Reiki is based on the idea that all living beings have life energy flowing through them. When life energy is up, you/your pets are healthy and balanced, more relaxed and less likely to get sick. When low, often we’ll be more easily affected by stress and less resistant to illness.
Benefits of Reiki on our pets include:
-Pain Relief
-Anxiety and Fear Relief (especially for terminally ill animals)
-Reduces Stress
-Aids in better behavior
-Speeds up healing (injury/surgery, etc)
-Alleviate medicinal side effects
-Provides comfort and overall feeling of safety
With all that our little fur babies do for us, it’s only right that we treat them to something as special as this. Consider Reiki for your pet and even yourself, and see how your life, and theirs, will change.
